Just wondering if you guys recommend going aftermarket for wheel nuts, or is it better to go for genuine (despite the price and lack of availability)?

A little skeptical to go aftermarket as I don't know the quality and the wheel nuts are pretty crucial to keeping the wheel on.

Cheers

I use SAAS aftermarket wheel nuts and no complaints. Only $32 for 20. I've ordered a second set for when these eventually go rusty and no longer look pretty..

Most aftermarket wheels come with wheel nuts.....

So this should give you an idea if they are suitable or not

Always get steel, never get the pretty fleabay aluminium rubbish

Make sure you get the right type to, there is a few different flange types and different angles on the mating surfaces

Never even knew aluminium wheel nuts was a thing.
They were popular with kids that didn't know better running JDM car

They are OK to run on extended wheel studs, but tend to gaul out with use, like swapping wheels alot

For the small amount of weightloss you get, good ones are expensive and don't last long

Kids like them because you can get them in a range of colours and some joints sell junk ones cheap

I'll stick to my SAAS ones.
