Hey guys, ok I changed the front seats in my VT for a pair of Recaro Bucket seats
But since doing so, the airbag light has come on. Initial thoughts were it could have been
The plug on seatbelt or maybe the seat rails weren't sitting flush, have just had the seat out again
And tried fixing this but still coming on.. What else do you guys think it could possibly be?
Cheers B

There is an airbag sensor under the factory seats. if it is disconnected and you turn the car on it will log an airbag fault and make the light stay on.
If you get it cleared without connecting the sensor it will come back.

Basically you will need to connect everything back up and get the light cleared at a mechanics.
Not sure on if you can find a way to keep your Recaros in at the same time though.

It's the seat belt pretensioner (not a sensor), where the belt plugs in.
You've learned the hard way, never turn the ignition on with any of the srs system unplugged, unless you have a scantool or access to one it'll cost whatever a mechanic charges to clear the codes.
Usually between $50-$70 maybe more depending on the mechanic.

Cheers mate, couldn't think of the right wording. I'm not a morning person and when I don't have coffee I can't think at all, lol.
