ALLOYTEC VZ 06 AC Stuck on Demister?

Hey, so I'm trying to figure out what is going on with my VZ AC system.
So far I've replaced:
- Resistor Block
- All 3 centre dials

Fixing these two I've managed to get the 1,2,3,HI setting back which is great, but now it's stuck on the front demister? I double checked to make sure everything's plugged back in and all the vacuum hoses are in at the dials, but to no avail. Not sure where to go from here!

I've heard about the vacuum hose on the back of the inlet manifold but not sure what hose I'm looking for? If someone could include a picture that would be awesome, I'm kind of competent but not so familiar with these vacuum systems!

I'm only posting this because all I've seen so far are for Ecotecs, and a lot of the VZ posts are very vague in regards to the problem and the location of the hose!

Replace the main vacuum actuator down in the driver's footwell?
Might as well give it a go, can generally pick one up for $10 at the wreckers, thank you!

Also worth looking at the little check valve that leads into the firewall from the manifold.
It's an easy fix.

That vacuum actuator is mounted under the glove box from memory.

Where about is the check valve?
Left side of engine bay close to brake booster?

It's near the brake booster.

On another point, the vacuum actuator is on the drivers side just behind the lower trim panel on the centre console/lower dash.
