Basicly bought this car 2 months ago I have a Factory fitted Dual Fuel VT 2000 Sedan Auto done about 260,xxx ks now and I have replaced the following

Spark plugs
Spark Leads
Upgraded to MSD Coils
DFI Plate just last night

All of a sudden on my way to work down the freeway with cruise on sitting on 100kph it feels like the 4th gear in the Auto started to slip, did it about 3 times from memory Would this be because I replaced the DFI plate or would the trans be getting time for a replacement?

Thank you in advanced

Check your trans oil level hot and cold ....iv been told to get an accurate reading put into park then select each gear r.n.d.1.2.3 then back .2.3.d.n.r.p and check levels as this gives a more accurate reading i just had to replace trans oil lines due to the line giving in and loosing trans oil this gave me that slipping and not selecting gears nicely like normal
