well after asking in the VN VP sections seems like its normal 4 a rebuilt diff 2 act like a spool kinda at 1st and will settle down in time. so will drive 4 a couple weeks and see how it goes :) woohhoo.

next on the list is fitting these replacement leather sets now. just need 2 find some spare time with the misus old man so he can do some welding that will b needed and drill some holes on his drill press 2 bolt the seats 2 the new rails.

Diff has stopped making that noise so its settled in now which its great :)

On a better note i decided 2 get these front seats in while im on holidays, i was going 2 do the retro fit way from the how 2 section but decided i wanted a nicer cleaner look, it kinda looked tacky and then there was the risk of it being illegal so i went and spoke 2 the guys next door at chronic customs and they fit the seats in 4 me. decided 2 take off the runners from the old seats and weld them 2 the VX rails so now it all bolts down and sits as if it was factory fitted :D mayb still illegal but at least it'll b very hard 4 any 1 2 pick. They were a lil expensive but i must say the end result does look 100 times better than wat i had planned.

Back seats r in after some delays and me not being 100% happy with it until now :) only issue we had that i didnt like was the back rests where the wheel arch meets, there was a nice 15-20mm gap that i didnt like and it also didnt allow the rear doors 2 shut freely with out more force than usual so had 2 take it back and get them 2 sort that out. Reason it did this was the back rests r slightly wider so they pushed outwards on the rear tubs behind. we decided 2 weld a plate on the rod fame where it stuck out and bolt it thought the wheel arch which fixed that problem perfectly.

cheers mate at this stage not 100% sure but im thinkin mayb exhaust and extractors next? dunno wat sorter combo i wanna get but seems these can b quite pricey from shop 2 shop.

atm i like wat i hear tho it has a slight tinny sound at higher revs that id like 2 get removed haha not sure if thats caused by an aging exhaust or not or if its normal?

Well ended up gettin an exhaust and extractors from not an abba fan cheers mate. Manta system, extractors (turned out 2 b redbacks rest was manta), two high flow cats and a twin 2 1/2" system with front mufflers and tail pipes with tips 4 $1740 posted 2 my door.

Had a couple issues with fitment was going 2 fit these myself or try 2 at least but there was 2 small sections missing between the extractors and the cats (not included anymore) that needed 2 b made up which ment i couldnt fit it myself bugger. Took it in 2 get fitted at mettams mufflers guys seems great 2 help but dunno if it was the right choice or not. Ended up costing $600 just 2 fit them, apparently they had touble fitting the extractors and couldnt just remove the right hand side rack outer the way, had 2 remove starter and bell housing 2 make them fit which apparently shouldnt need doing, so took them longer than expected. Also wen it was finished the rear piping was sticking out almost 250mm :S so had 2 get them 2 cut the rear pipe section as far back 2 the rear hangers 2 get the tips 2 tuck right in looks good now tho.

will try work out out 2 do a sound clip on my phone not sure how 2 do it even haha. Car sounds nice mayb just a tad loud wen the car starts 2 rev past the 2500rpm mark but i'll see how they go.
