Are 5 litre manuals in VS executive rare

How rare are the V8 manuals in the VS Executive, I have the option of buying one and need to know what sort of coin I should pay, this one is immaculate and asking 12K

Fair enough, I do remember saying to my mate in 1983 that I will not pay 16K for a GT HO Falcon I regret that
I do like this car it’s unusual and SS are fetching 15K now thanks

rare?... not really imo
I know of 2 guys who have them
daily drivers around Melbourne, done in excess on 200k

probably coz they are manwells

One of the guys I know bought his in place of a VS SS
Exec 5.0 manual + FE2 + LSD = poor mans SS
(he chucked an aftermarket set of alloys on after he got it)

VS Executive Commodores were targeted at the business market, hence their name. Must businesses would have preferred their employees to be driving automatics instead of manuals, for obvious reasons.

It's been up on eBay for over a year now if my memory serves me correctly. Also if I'm right he originally stated in the listing that the seats were factory fitted which I couldn't agree with as there are the two different colours inside the vehicle, Grey and Blue and as such I'm sure it wouldn't have come out of the factory like that, also I'm sure they wouldn't have allowed the SS embroidery inside an Executive.

The seller retracted the statement about the seats from his listing.
