Invalid fine?

Today i got done for speeding, $200 and 3 points, but on the fine he didn't put in my postcode for my address, also he spelt the name of the street wrong, making it a street that does not exist in Australia. Could you fight the fine and say 'how could i be speeding on a road that doesn't exist?'

well he is right, ive heard stories of people getting off on a 'faulty' written ticket.

Yep my brother and mate both got off parking fines from parking in the wrong spot at the beach, because the inspector wrote street instead of road.

I got off a very large fine when I was caught speeding on my bike. Mandatory court appearance, rego number was recorded incorrectly. So it is possible, but prob better to behave on the road lol
