Have you got the part # for this or know where I can get a s/hand one from? Also my heater fan switch won't work, I use to hit the consol and it would work but it won't go anymore. If it is the resister can you post the link for replacement please! Also are having troble with R/hand oxy sensor throwing code 13 even after I put a new one in. Is it the pink heater wire? Can you point me in the wright direction. Regards Peter.

Hey,
I've got a bit of a problem starting my VS V6 commodore. What happens is when you turn the ignition on the thermo fans come on and it tries to turn over but can't (i've also noticed it takes a bit longer now to turn over then what it normally does). I've had it in the shop to be looked at but it didn't play up at all while it was in and they couldn't find a problem. I was told to change the crank angle sensor which i did and still no luck. The thing that gets everyone one is when it won't start it has spark and it has fuel as well. Please help its driving me crazy

very hard to say without seeing it, i would be looking into any codes before replacing anything
if theres no codes check the battery voltage while cranking

i have a vz and the left hand side indicators are staying on.
i have heard this is due to a fault in the BCM and requires replacing.

is this correct and roughly how much does it cost?
i don't suppose there's any chance it could be just a flasher unit is there?
and would replacing the BCM solve another problem of an innacurate fuel gauge

thank you

do vr v6 series 1 and series 2 have different plugs on their automatics (12 and 13 pin)? if so is it possible to get a 13 pin auto to fit a 12 pin loom and vise versa?

Thanks.

yesw its a common failure & will happen to about 95% of VY & VZ vehicles at some stage
cost for a BCM ranges from about $180 to $400 depending on the level you need, i am currently investigating reworking these as i have a "few" around.lol
no it will be the BCM sorry
the BCM has nothing to do with the fuel guage issues.

if you mean a VN-VR type engine its on the back of the inlet manifold towards the drivers side.

as far as i know the change was made at VS SOP.
the hardware is different so you need to change the operating electronics to suit.
