The crank in the motor needs to be me from a manual motor. Has 2 dowels as well as the bolts to mount the flywheel to the end of the crank, that autos don't have. Stops snapping bolts. Have associated costs with changing crank. Main bolts & con rod bolts need to be bought new because factory ones are TTY, can only be used once. Plus gaskets.

i did it in my vx v6, i payed $2500 for conversion kit (it was out of a vy with 20K on the box) and $300 to put it in. IMO its worth it if your car has sentimental value or youve already sepant alot of money on it, otherwise its probably cheaper to buy a new car.
where did you get your conversion kit from?
