Auto Window Wipers won't activate

Only the top spec vehicles get the rain sensing wipers including the Caprice V.

My Redline also now squirts water as soon as the wiper starts as before it used to be delayed. The delay was only because the water used to drain back in the bottle but now the water lines stay full and squirt as soon as I start washing the window.

Did you install a backflow preventer / one way valve?

No such device fitted. I remember the Redline had a delay and the Director was instant. Now both cars are instant when I pull the lever back.

series 1 does have the feature!!

well now i feel stupid and should have done my research.
