thanks mate. i still have a long list to go. but each day that i get some more done i tick a little bit more off the list.

today i got my gauges in and working. just need to hook them up to the computer to change the parameters as they are set for imperial measurements and the 02 sensor is set for 98ron not e85

What about that Kenworth/BES turbo timer?

It would look nice just below the speed alert or along the centre console.

Great progress though.

yeah i still have the kenworth turbo timer. i tried under the speed alert buttons. but couldnt get it to look good. and i like the option of just pressing stop if i want it to turn off straight away. in the event of an emergency. so it might go under the headlight switch somewhere. easy to access. while getting out of the car.

ill have some more progress this weekend hopefully

progress is still happening allbeit slow.

well today i spent a few hours doing some fiddly bits and pieces heres whats been done
.fitted the tailshaft and chasis stiffener
.filled gearbox with transmax z this time after hearing good things about it.
.filled engine with running in oil
.fitted radiator
.mounted coils
.bled brakes and clutch with fresh fluids
. run a -10 feed and -8 return line in 200 series teflon
. made lines for the fuel rails
. found out fuel rails wont fit i may possibly have the wrong ones? not too sure

here is the fuel setup so far the intank walbro feeds a 3 litre surge tank and has the 2 044s going to a y piece and branching out to each rail.and then return through the regulator back to a single -8 return which goes to the surge tank and the tank has a 5/16 line that goes back to the tank all in teflon so it can use e85 :)

my injector dynamics id1000s came this week

and this is where the battery will sit (still havent got a bracket for it and im still toying with the idea of mounting it on its side

Maybe try a shorter but longer battery to sit in there nicely?

CAT supply awesome batteries.

I know a place that has made a custom D34 mounting bracket for a Silvia, may have been a one off but I can ask if he can make another one if you like? :)

teflon lines are aeroflow performance. purchased from rocket industries in blacktown.

K bagz i just bought this battery haha. dont wanna sell it. it will fit even with the lid down in the back. i just need to figure out a mount.

skappascrap that would be awesome. the battery looks awesome on its side. haha

ive got a few more fiddly bits out of the way last/this week

swapped the injector plugs over to ones that fit the new id1000s. extended the loom for the map sensor. hooked up all the intercooler plumbing. installed the 17 psi springs in the wastegate got my tps and iac sensors. they are now installed.

im taking my wheels to get the tyres pulled off. and have them tidied up. they have gutter rash and the paint is pretty average. thats about it. i went to rocket this morning to get some leads to custom make a set for my engine but the wombat gave me a set of standard msd leads. so back there ill go next saturday to swap them for what i want.
