Best Sound System Brands

Something like this would be a good soundsystem.

ALPINE CDE-102E - headunit, 2 preouts - 250
ALPINE SPR-17S - 110rms (easy 150rms) components - $300
MB Quart 480 - bridged 320 x 2 (plenty of power, cheap amp) - $210
KICKER PKD4 - 4 gauge wiring kit - $150

Total = $910 (I know theres no sub, but that can be future things)

(my gf runs these components with this amplifier, but using rockford 4gauge wiring kit instead, sounds awesome!)

What about low frequencies?
Better off running the splits from 2 channels and bridging it to a Type S sub or something.

Joe, I haven't gotten back to you because I am at the moment unsure if I'm keeping my VS or buying a different car .. so it's currently on hold. Also, have you sold any of your subwoofers to a Perth JC member? I would like to have a listen to them.

Subs are always hard to pick I think. I like lots of bass... so I would pay >$1000 for one ... others woudn't.

Hey guys, an update i reckon im just gna go to jb hi-fi (yes i know jb hifi dnt need to hear it agen lol) and get a Pioneer (DEH3100UB) Head Unit along with the Dual Kicker 12" Comps im not sure of which amp to get right now lol...Im going to leave the fronts as there good enough for now..let me know what you think but for me I like the head unit thats gna cost me $300 and the kicker subs for $450 not sure what or how much an amp + installation is right now though but yeah pretty sure thats what ill be doing in due time.
