I'm so glad that we aren't the only ones having HUGE problems in getting our 6 stacker out also. Friend spent ages on trying but to no avail :( . I will def be
showing them the pics on here to see if they can have another go! Thx!

I ended up bending a slight "kink" about 8mm from the ends of the prongs - when you stick them in point these towards each other. It helps to get a bit more purchase on the locking clips, and tends to stop them pulling out. Lean outwards before you pull on them, as 12Voltking said, and it literally is a matter of seconds!

Here's a pic of the wires I use.

4 nails, push in and pull out, too easy.

I made these tools this morning and had head unit out in about 5 secs. I put head unit back in place now steering wheel buttons dont work any ideas only slid head unit out bout an inch then straight back in.
I am spending tonight /tomorrow installing alpine system and hope i didnt stuff something...
