Bought facia kit, plug doesn't fit

I bought a facia kit to install my new Sony head unit in my vy but the plug that came with it doesn't fit into head unit. Do I have to strip wires and connect this way? TIA

You can strip wires or buy a plug that fits it properly. Was it a sony compatible plug?

The fascia kit was bought for me so I don't know sorry... The plug looks like it's a pretty close fit, and the other end fits into the dash no worries...

I'd just buy a new harness instead of wasting time with splicing wires. Pop into an autobarn or supercheap and see if they have a a sony harness for a VY.

aeropro harness's - VY to Aeropro then Aeropro to Sony harness.

no ####in with wiring then, plug and play.
