Mine definitely doesnt smell in the cabin unless the wind is strong and I'm idling in traffic, then you can get a hint of it.Just got my car back from cam and it smells very fumey in cabin. Is this normal or does the tune need to be adjusted?
I have 100 cpi cats from GM Motorsporttune can help if setup right, but if u have high flow cats u wont get rid of all the smell as most is burnt before it leaves exhaust but it should be able to be better then it is
Cheers. Definitely more noticeable idling in traffic.Mine definitely doesnt smell in the cabin unless the wind is strong and I'm idling in traffic, then you can get a hint of it.
100 cell cats do squat, they just "look" like you have cats, 200 cell will reduce the emission smell in a stock car, when you have a cam 400 cell do the job nicely, and pass an emissions test with the right tuneI have 100 cpi cats from GM Motorsport
Is that link the ones you are using? Surprised they can handle the FI100 cell cats do squat, they just "look" like you have cats, 200 cell will reduce the emission smell in a stock car, when you have a cam 400 cell do the job nicely, and pass an emissions test with the right tune
The trick is to use the largest body cats you can fit in the space you have
The "power loss" from 400 cell cats is negligible in a street car, especially if you use Euro 5 400 cell high flow cats with a 5" body, if you search around you can get then to suit 2.5" to 3"
