Catch Can - suggestions

Looking to buy a good quality catch can and leaning towards a mightymouse. What are you running? Open to suggestions.

SAAS baffled air oil separator for LS1 with return to intake to keep it legal, and remote drain for easy servicing

Added some fuel foam to help strip the oil from the air

Works a treat, my intake is oil free

Oh sweet. You get those from supercheap right? Where did you mount the drain valve? Does it come with a mounting bracket?

Ebay can be cheaper

They make them to suit different varients, if you have a LS1 add that into your search

Drain valve and hose is separate purchase, either supercheap or ebay

Fuel foam is seperate purchase, probably not really required, but I concider it best practice, it is cheap though, make sure you get E85 compliant foam if your running E85, although most fuel foam now is E85 compliant, or, just use some stainless steel scouring pad, which is even cheaper

Stick your head in behind the front bar on the drivers side, you will see the routing, the end of the hose hooks into a lose cable tie on a bracket behind the front bar

Dont get one that vents to atmosphere like in your pic, it's not emission compliant.

Or just don't get one the vents to atmo because the PCV valve needs vacuum to work correctly.

I like the killaboost & vcm setups...bigger catchcan the better.

Ok to have a fiolter/vent on top as long as come rego time or defected can take filter off to change it to 'sealed system'

Eh, debatable (not because of emissions or rego), there's no benefit or gain in doing it though.

I've the Elite Engineering can on my LS3, they also make the E2, a larger can with an optional 2nd exit port for forced induction applications. My intake is clean, put the can on with 13 miles or 21km on the odo.
