Car makes noise like timing chain is going but not throwing any trouble codes.

Rough on idles but when air con is on it idles better.

The fuel trim on bank 1 is -14 and bank 2 is -8. So maybe oxygen sensor or something.

Car is sluggish so maybe a bad coil pack

Other than all the above and an airbag light on. Car runs fantastic.

Is this my timing chain starting to be on its way out, are my lifters noisy?

HELP!!!!

The timing chain issue isn't something you hear, it's a slight stretching that will throw code due to miss-matched ignition timing. If you don't have a code, don't worry about your timing chain. A chain noise on start up is oil pressure-related and as long as it goes away, it's perfectly normal.

It sounds like you may have a sensor issue somewhere.

Noise stays with car while it’s on. Doesnt go away after warm or while accelerating. It doesn’t get louder at all as well

Take the serpentine belt off and run the engine to check all the accessories.

When was the last time it was serviced (oil/filter)?

Serviced it just then with Castrol edge 5w30 full synthetic.

And I took the belt off and ran it and noise still there. Accessories are good. Never overheated as well. So yeah. I’m guessing it’s timing chain but it’s not putting out any codes

Kinda doesn't sound like a chain to me. Try unplugging each injector one at a time with the engine running and see what happens.

Try adding some Nylon Lifter Free and see what happens. Noise does sound like top end to me, I hear 2 noises, one been injectors and something else. In that video it's more evident on the passenger side.

I have run injector cleaner though it about 4000kms a go. I’ll try the lifter free soon and I’ll definitely let you know

Oh and also upon starting up and letting it idle for 5 mins, bank 1 short term goes -25% and bank 2 short term goes -15%. Driver side oxygen sensor may be on its way out. But shouldnt make the car idle rough or lose too much power

Thanks for the help
