I'll be glad when it's all over really, just another day. Atleast it sounds like it should be nice whether on a public holiday for a change.

watch out for sharks

Every one on this coast is worried about sharks but as some one who has been sailing up and down this coast for 25 years i can tell you there is no more or no less sharks around than there was 20 years ago its just that the media lets people know about them and we actually look for them now. I still reckon you have more chance of getting hit by a falling sattelite on your way to cash in your winning million dollar lotto ticket

We'll be having a fire in the fireplace (indoors) from first thing in the morning 'til late at night. The weather forecast is:
Monday A slight chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 1.
Monday Night A chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around -4.
Christmas Day A slight chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 0.
I split a quarter cord of oak and cedar so we're good to go.

We have a standing invitation with both families to drop by whenever they want on Christmas Day.

^^^ I used to have a client who lived in New Jersey. A few years ago in our Summer I was talking to him. He was complaining about how cold it was there...around -20 and he hadn't been outside for days. In Perth that day is was 40. Oh the extremes.

Apparently , according to the forecast , NZ's North Island is going to cop the tail end of the cyclone that hit Samoa and Fiji , so it could be an interesting couple of days .
