Hey mate,

I cleaned the throttle body as described here....

THEN i read the instructions on the bottle which said...

"IMPORTANT - Vehicles fitted with electronic throttle or idle speed controls - avoid direct contact with electircal devices such as idle speed controls and throttle controls"

Have i just killed the idle speed control unit?

Probably not. Put it back and try it.

Injectors might be one for the professionals. Cost will depend on where you go, but a mobile one will do the lot for you in about an hour for about $250 if your happy to pay that. If you dont want to spend that sort of $ just run a couple of bottles of injector cleaner through.

Seems to have made a little difference, although it could be a placebo effect...

guy with lpg thingy on tb

hmmm was going to clean the throttlebody on my VN today but since it has LPG system in it theres some **** thing making it harder to get to the tb.. anyone with LPG removed their throttlebody fine?

If it looks like a round ring with the gas feed pipe running to it, then just pull tb off with it on. You can clean that at same time. I do. No probs.
