Only dreamed of those damn bleeder kits since they first came out!!!!

Never had gearbox out of either ls daily drivers that I've had nor access to car hoist long enough to do job.

If I had bleeder kit, reservoir etc would be bought before the clutch decision...vy models absolutely suck trying to get to bleeder nozzle when fitted with extractors/twin 3' exhausts/car on jackstands in driveway.

Probably needs a larger tank for the clutch fluid but the clutch works exactly the way it should so not a big deal

So this thread got me thinking about doing my clutch fluid since it had been 3-4 years, I didn’t do it the traditional way I used a syringe and sucked the dirty fluid out of the reservoir and, wiped it out and underneath the cap with a clean cloth, refilled it with clean fluid and cycled the clutch thru a fair few times until the fluid was going dark again from the rest of the dirty fluid in the system and syringed it out refilled with clean fluid etc etc for a few times till it was all clean again and I actually did notice an improvement in the clutch

That's fantastic thinking. I might use the same method with my brake fluid - would be a lot easier and faster than bleeding the brakes. Why hasn't someone thought of that?

Brake lines are much longer than clutch lines so it might not work with brakes

Yea I tend to agree, you’d be there forever trying to get all the old fluid out and even then you’d probably never get all of it
