Commodore Legit Check

Hey all, the garage I work at is selling this Commodore SSV for $1650. Engine and trans are in good condition, just interior and suspension need a lot of work. Few things made me a bit sus because I don’t know a lot about holden and commodores in general. I think I’m going to purchase it but I was wondering if you guys think the car is legit because the badge on the back is misspelled. Also can you tell me what year it is as the garage is currently closed. Thanks!

There were no left hand drive Commodores, they were all Chevs. My guess is somebody has slapped the badges on (the "Commodoer" badge isn't even the right font).

Yes, it is a VE Commodore. Someone has Holden-ised a Chev with the badges and grille, like Chevy SS owners in the USA have done.
Much the same as bogan Commodore owners in Oz put Chev badges and grilles on the Holdens.
Year ? Guessing 2006 > 2008 going by the colour of the seats.

Where the 'Commodoer' badge is in the photo above should be 'Lumina'.

Thanks everyone. Pretty funny outcome. I’ll probably purchase it since it’s still quite cheap for a v8. Gonna remove the badges but keep the holden and ss badge on the side.
