But does it fit an 05 VZ?

I found this info online;
Original GM part number 92068250 now supersedes to 13502509 and has a different looking top

I already have the one that says 120kpa with the spring. I was just asking because a few posts up from FU he said that all alloytecs should use 140kpa caps but when I check it says VZ from 06 not 05 as mine is

Thanks for that, but as on first reading I'm not sure that it addresses MY confusion, I think I'll read it again .

Seriously, I think that at this stage I'll stick with the green stuff that's in the system, bleed it and top-up, and replace the cap with a 140kPa one from GMH.
Hey mate,did you fix the issue?I think I'm having the same issue atm,my coolant is green also,
I'm gonna go get a new radiator cap but all the shops are giving me random psi pressures, 17psi up to 20psi

Only use genuine caps from Holden.
You can get them on eBay as well. Many Holden dealers have eBay stores.

Look to swapping out the green coolant back to red. L

Early on, many workshops had uninformed opinions of the red dexcool standard coolant. They swapped a lot of cars to green with early repairs like water pumps. Those cars have just stuck with green coolant since.

Vz alloytec, to fill from real cap location only or plastic lid dipstick aswell ? 2nd i have seen as overflow and is next to empty yet main cap "so to speak" doesn't take half a cup? Air bled out as per profishanol () post.. was past issue a month n 3k ago.. Secondarily green or red premix coolant? 2/3 mechanics have recommended green including the radiator replacement mob after a gutter ripped its ass out needing a new one
