Not saying they do, but if a new OEM bonnet was not available, the odds are that a 2nd hand one, off a car at that wreckers, IMO, would be safer bet, to be OEM. Not to say that the OEM part won't fail overtime either. Time will tell if the factory aluminum bonnets will last the lifetime of car, or have some sort of failure. Like most things we put our trust in designers, and engineers.
