i used to drive it and advance it up as much as possible with out it pinging . Flaten it up a nice steep hill, otherwise disconnect and block up the vac advance and set it to 6 degree with the timing light idling in neutral will be all right, if nothing has changed where ever the idle speed is right should be pretty close assuming it was running all right b4. the module usually ends up pretty close to parallel with the oil pump usually where I start .
