Not true at all. This furphy has been doing the rounds for years and subsequently shot down. Here's the real problem: incorrect recharging of the filter. If you soak your filter in a paint-roller tray and slap it in, you're going to have more serious problems than a fouled MAF sensor! The native filter coating is extremely thin and has not ever been demonstrated to move up the snorkel and foul the MAF. Does not happen.

So you said exactly what I said but with different words. "Too much oil can foul the MAF.
Which is why I said re oil it with "LESS" oil.

You're not going to gain even 10rwkw by using a OTR. Maybe 2.

I reckon between 10-15 kw.

The current system was used by HSV. With their tune and exhaust system HSV 340 LS3 was making abot 25kw extra compared to SS LS3. I would imagine HSV tune was conservative due to emissions etc
