Hi guys,

My VYII Acclaim's driver's side indicators aren't working. I pressed the hazard light button to test them and only the passenger side ones are working.

All three (front, guard, rear) indicators on the right aren't working and the right indicator isn't flashing on the dash like the left one is.

Is this something simple like a blown fuse?

Thank you!

I checked the following fuse and it looks fine:

F12 (15A). Turn signals & back-up lamps.

If that fuse was blown wouldn't none of the indicators work?

EDIT: I just found the following thread but no one ever responded: Indicators not working on one side help!!!!!

How do i check the flasher module? Is it one of those bigger square things in the fuse compartment under the dash?

yep, should be labeled. no idea how to test it though, unless you replaced it.

To start with id take all the globes out and install each separately and see if they work. there might a short somewhere.

I wouldn't have a clue how to take the globes out. If I did I guess I could test the globes in the passenger side indicators?

front one you undo the small dust cap on the back of the headlight
rear you need to undo the thumbscrews (look like double sided hook things) and remove the whole taillight, or just unplug it.

The guard one you can slide a credit card under it to unclip it. you need to do it from the "fatter" end

Thanks fellas. My battery is flat (unrelated i believe) and last time i saw it on the dash computer it was 9.5 volts which is ridiculously low so i guess i have a dead cell.

I'll check the bulbs etc tomorrow when i get a new battery.
