Mate, we obviously arent all perfectly skilled drivers like you are, if people travel under the limit in the wet and wish to take their time passing, let them. Wait until they move, then you can continue at your speed when you get the chance, i promise, it isnt going to kill you. Turn on some tunes and relax, you will forget all about it

The point is though, that often people ARENT overtaking at all...not even 1mm a second. They're doing the same speed or slower than cars in the lanes next to them, despite being in the right lane.

There is a law against that, and the fine is quite hefty in SA and there is also a loss of demerit points. I could dig up the RAA magazine with the article on it, it was something like 3 demerit points and a $360 fine.

i act a bit more cautious till a nice bit open road where it not to damp, then i push at the most 10-12kmph over speed limit of everyone else , only when safe to do so
