Hurts doesnt it? For weeks!

I have a burn mark on my elbow from where i brushed against one... BRUSHED and its blistered, gotten infected mildly and generally pissed me off. Meanwhile, wife thinks i may die of lead poisoning as i refuse to use lead free solder.

Oh, and a new one, Heat shrinking large cables with the thicker duel wall ****. I use one of those little butane torches - Hate when I forget the hand holding the cable is right behind where I'm trying to heat the cable.

Only takes a few burns for me to remember not to hold it too close to the flame.

lol, I used to have the Stimpy award back at the workshop in Alaska. Anytime an employee would do something stupid and another employee saw them, they could nominate them for the Weekly Stimpy. Their prize, we would spend the next week constantly saying "You idiot Stimpy"...

C'mon, it's Alaska.. not much else to do except pick on your mates, ride on snowmachines, go bushwalking, shoot grizzlies, miss the grizzlies and run like hell.

oh, and women. Surprising amount of women up there.

At least once a year every year for the last 15 years... I grab the business end of a soldering iron.

along these same lines:

ive always found that while TIG welding, when the radioactive tungsten electrode is too hot to hold, the best place to put it is in your mouth... not sure why my brain does that, but im not the only person who does.

also a fun thing to do is stick a 2.6mm filler rod in your mouth and flip your visor shut.

hours of fun


and yes, this happens repeatedly.
