already done that. i cant afford it cos i just had to fork out the money i was gonna pay 88green on my mr truck license so i can start my new job and i was getting pissed off that i had this great dash and half it didnt work so i did my own wiring up and now there are a few lil snags
wiring is my thing and always will be but my mind cant get my head around it atm. ill try havin a smoke and im open to more suggestions as earthing out the mode wire hasnt worked

jxw, what pin is the inst fuel ment to be on? i was thinkin the efi pin? and even with the 4 wires to the trip box not connected to anything it still wont change modes

well tested (never tried this before) holding - or + in and trying to change modes == nothing, just sits there ignoring it. ecu should be connected to pin 13, 3rd in from the other end

does the engine have to be running in order to change modes?

not running but with ign on, aslong as it's showing more than just the odo screen is should change

just a foot note: wat i did was use terminals i got outa the plug from my wrecker car and soldered them on. then i connected the wires to the harness that goest to the drivers side door as it had the correct number of wires in it. so that way i can disconnect it and reconnect it as i need to

So the inst fuel isreally instant hey? Reacted to every lil touch of the throttle lol. Now just the mode to sort out. Thanks for helpin me to realise my mistake guys

yeah instant shows it as it goes, avg shows well the average (the longer you leave it without resetting everything to 0 the more accurate it'll be), just need to make sure the cal numbers are set correctly to get an accurate reading of all the numbers (refer to factory manual for the correct way to calculate and set)

Progress. Accidentally got into the fuel flo calc swttings and i can
Trigger it to go up( at 649 atm) but not
Down. So more lookin to be done
