Ok your dizzy dont have naything to do with not getting oil pressure, it will only be involved with ignition.

i used the book and this is the second time we have put a 202 together...

I meant the cog gear on the bottom of the pump shaft.Sorry it was early..

checked the lifters and had oil in the top of all of them and the pushrods are all clean and weren't blocked

Check to make sure it has all the camshaft bearings fitted. If one is missing it will cause a huge drop in oil pressure. It is rare but i have seen it happen.

Hey all i jus bought a HM rebuilt engine from a wreckers with low Km's...

I was just wondering if the HM built engines (for gas) are any good???

I have put it in and it is running good atm,

I work for hm gem engines and all engines are recoed for gas setup with hardend vavles and seats. Well as for quality if it working good then i'd say it's alright one of the guys at work had one in his vh and done about 200000k's in it with no prblems. Most stuffed motors come back pretty quick or are picked up when their tested? Do you have any idea how old it is (how long since it was rebuilt) There's usually stamped som where. THe victorian plants new (where i work) it was up in sydney before that.
