Engine Light after OTR?

hello JCCC,

After installing a OTR today the check engine light has come on, The diagnostic toll states left and right bank are running lean.

The new K&N air filter had a substantial amount of oil on it from the box.

Do you think the O2 sensors and just unable to read whats going on? i'm thinking a highway run to burn it of or take them out and give them a clean and clean to filter a bit?

Fault code is P0171 & P0174.

any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Heading in for a tune at OzTrack but thats not till Saturday.

Where is the air intake temp sensor on these?

Maf is connected, all sensor are present and functioning as intended. Diagnostic states lean running in both banks. Light switch off after a few hard runs. See what happens on Saturday.

It wouldn't be running if had removed the MAF(without a mafless tune)

ya probably shouldnt do a few hard runs if its running lean...melted pistons arent fun

Intake temp is at 42c and coolant temp is at 90c.

You said that there was a lot of oil on the K&N filter. Check the MAF sensor elements if they have any oil on them if they do clean it with some MAF cleaner.
