The servicing dealership found them that way when examining my vehicle for engine shaking which occurs when you ease your foot off the brake.
Both mounts were replaced under warranty. The vehicle ran a bit smoother but the shaking was still present. According to the servicing dealership and Holden Australia, this shaking is a "characteristic" of the LS3 engine.
Manual or auto? I was told by the dealership that the shaking only affected the auto because of the loading of the torque converter.My engine shakes in the SS but the other car isn't too bad.

I did stumble upon these on flea bay a while ago. Look a lot more durable than the factory rubber ones but no doubt vibration dampening would suffer if your worried about that kind of thing.I was wondering more so if this was usual of these ? Sorry my phone died before I posted what I wanted to ask . And more so can someone please help me understand the better options available to this stock standard mount ? Not mechanically minded .
