In Sydney today there were some places at $1.80 while other servos, (in one report right next to each other) are at $2.30+

I have 5 within a 5 kay radius of home, all owned by the same person and the prices always vary greatly....No idea why, but they do....

Yes, they don't allow for idling whilst stuck in traffic jams...
Probably why they wont fix traffic snarls, free excise, plus GST on top.
In fact they actually make them worse. The variable speed limit signs on the Ipswich motorway are always 60kph during peak hour, regardless of if there is any existing traffic or not.

Of course all you need is a couple of Camry drivers following what the fukwit in the control room says (or a cop travelling along the same road, which forces compliance) and then the run is fuked for the day.

I seem to notice, diesel only jumps 10c or so, where petrol jumps 50+c or so...At the moment diesel is round the $2.00 a litre, whilst 91 is $2.29 a litre.

Diesel basically doesn’t move at all here in QLD (same as LPG) but the petrol price varies wildly depending on their pricing cycle.

I drove past one of the last couple of places that sell LPG the other day I think it was $1.50 or $1.60 a litre.

About 4 years ago, I was working at a shop where we had a LPG ticket, we didn't really push LPG much for work, but at that time we started to get a lot of people removing the system.

And with most servos not replacing LPG pumps when they wear out we will see even less of them on the road.

I'd say Vic will be the first place to have no LPG available. Last I heard they were canning all gas, including to the home and business and even bottled gas for BBQ's. Can thank the former premier for that legislation.

No it was new gas connections, so if you have an existing house with gas you're all good.
Also they can't prevent the sale of bottled gas.

That's up pretty well from when it was around 60c a litre. I used to pay under 90c a litre locally when I had gas that was around 10 years ago. Only one or two places to buy it in Town now that sell it and no where to buy it in the city centre anymore, only the outer burbs have it now and it may only be one Woolworths outlet that even have it at all in Town now. If there is a second servo that has it I'd say it would be United at Mowbray as they use to stock and may still sell E85, by they are the sole place to get that now.
