Easy - its a "limited edition", and its a "Pontiac", which in the minds of some makes it "better" than a standard VE. It'll probably be popular with the sort who put Chevy badges on Holdens.

Man, you guys got one sweet ride. According to some reviewers, the G8 is the best Pontiac ever. And the GXP is the fastest production Pontiac. When Holden comes out with it, they will not call it a Pontiac. Pontiac is no longer in the US and I doubt GM will use the name in OZ.

The car is more or less the same thing that is in my avatar but with the G8 front/rear on it to get rid of excess stock after the GM debacle. Been around for a while and I agree - it's America's loss.

guys... go and get yourself the latest "Motor" magazine (i think it was motor)... they have full specs etc and HOLDEN also has an ad trying to sell them as special edition SSV's inside the front cover...

Still looks like crap at the front.... whats the go with the extra orange indicators/reflectors on the front ? looks like its from the 80's........
