Big update 1/2:
New diff. Mal Wood Automotive rebuilt LSD with 3.73 gears. 2,000ks old apparently. Gave it a paint today and have all new bushes for it. Can't wait to get it in, should be done before Christmas :D

In other news my odometer broke...so to get that fixed is $180 if I pull the cluster out myself :l And I have to either work out how to install a Jaycar speedo corrector kit, which looks hard and not the best quality, or pay $450 for it and the odo fix but using high quality parts and professionally installed. I'm thinking it might be worth the money to get it done right :(

Thanks mate, I hope it's all mechanically good lol. We'll see how it goes I guess. What was the bloke like who you bought it off?

And yeah, my Uncle will be giving me a hand again to swap them over, hopefully it'll go fairly smoothly.

Nice VR. I have a 93 that I'm slowly doing. Just put stainless air intake pipe work and k&n pod filter. Got a bored out throttle body but not in yet. Brought paint etc...also one of those "v8 supercar" front bumper. Now I have some more ideas from yours.
