got her back together and started. pressure came up to 50 psi pretty quick sits about 30 psi at idle. didnt run it too long ill take her for a spin to footy tomorrow.

ijust got a cheap vu ss as a non runner and once i got into it it was a fully built engine and 4l60e built in a maybe decent workshop and the timing chaine had got into the oil pump wore yhrough it and the big ends went and the pistons were hitting the head only 1200ks i found paperwork big dollars spent but at idle it sounded like a rotating noise in the valve train i know lol {monster performence}

my opoligize but ofcouse ill take pics today the pistons are not to bad because only half the crown was hitting the quench the oil pump is impresiveand the crank jernels some have a 5mm step where they are egg shaped . sorry to be offencive , i was hoping someone could say diffinativly what caused it i spoke to a very successful timing chaine and balancer owner that changed designe of there ls double row because this was happening wonderful bussiness replaced mine with the new designe next day .thanks for your help gents will put some pictures up today anything inperticular??

im sorry there not good ones but i have these at work ill take some today and ill send them to you asap . im so sorry to be a idiot i dont have a lot of money and need advice because i dont know about them and dont want to think i have fixed it

No need to be sorry, it's just good to see pics.

Definitive reason for the cause of the failure, someone fucked up big time and put the engine together with mismatched parts.
