how are the walls holding up?
is it still the vinyl spray?
looks good!

Not good. The rears have lasted longer than the fronts but still show some cracks/flaking. The fronts are really bad though, massive amounts of flaking from excessive strain when turning. I've kept touching it up with just paint on a brush. Looks good from a few metres any closer and it looks terrible

I went halves on a set of venetians with a mate at work. He wanted the quarter window ones and I wanted the back ones so it was win/win, $175 each. They were rough when I got them, had been black originally and painted white very poorly. So I straightened them, gave them a quick sand and coat of paint and they came up looking a million bucks.

Forgot to mention too, a fair while ago I also bought and fitted a redback 2.5 inch catback because diff dumpies on a 3.8 sound terrible (and for fully sick power gains obviously)

Now as my current tyres are about a flea's dick off bald I'm looking at getting new ones, proper whitewalls would set me back about $800 so I'm opting for cheapo tyres and flappers. Flappers have been ordered, on sale for $70, as well as bullet wheel nuts for $50. Tyrepower have 205/65/R15's for sale at the moment for about $70 so that suits me fine. In the mean time I want to get my rims painted properly (my rattle can job is ****) I've decided either the bronze colour I've tried to paint mine currently, a pale gold or plain silver. So far I prefer the gold, silver is nice but is overdone and the bronze just doesn't really pop like I'd imagined it would.

Replaced the radiator today, had the tiniest split in the plastic side tank and has been leaking ever so slowly. Picked up a new one for $80. Went in fine but now the upper hose is leaking where it meets the radiator, ran in it for a bit to heat up the rubber so it conforms better, new leak has lessened greatly but still drips a bit. Will give it a good flog on my way to Mt Tamborine for Garterbelts and Gasoline tomorrow and hopefully that should rectify the problem. Also, had to take photos because, well, I like to.

A fair bit has happened to my car since I last posted on here. Wheels are black. Front and Rear trolley strips are off. Put my visor on. Ran up the ass of a Patrol. Flappers are starting to self destructIMG_0674.jpgIMG_0672.jpgIMG_0720.jpgIMG_0721.jpgIMG_0722.jpgIMG_0705.jpgIMG_0729.jpg
