I went halves on a set of venetians with a mate at work. He wanted the quarter window ones and I wanted the back ones so it was win/win, $175 each. They were rough when I got them, had been black originally and painted white very poorly. So I straightened them, gave them a quick sand and coat of paint and they came up looking a million bucks.
Forgot to mention too, a fair while ago I also bought and fitted a redback 2.5 inch catback because diff dumpies on a 3.8 sound terrible (and for fully sick power gains obviously)
Now as my current tyres are about a flea's dick off bald I'm looking at getting new ones, proper whitewalls would set me back about $800 so I'm opting for cheapo tyres and flappers. Flappers have been ordered, on sale for $70, as well as bullet wheel nuts for $50. Tyrepower have 205/65/R15's for sale at the moment for about $70 so that suits me fine. In the mean time I want to get my rims painted properly (my rattle can job is ****) I've decided either the bronze colour I've tried to paint mine currently, a pale gold or plain silver. So far I prefer the gold, silver is nice but is overdone and the bronze just doesn't really pop like I'd imagined it would.
