well whitewalls are expensive as ****...whereas stockies you can get for $70 each, flappers for $140 and they're reusable and look exactly the same.

Just doing small things to the car now to tidy it up, since I don't have enough to do anything major. Gave the car a cut and polish all over last weekend. Looks great in person, can't really see in photos though.

I also debadged the rear of the car today. I'm not sure if I want to leave the lion badge on and no other badges or put the 'holden' badge across the garnish and lose the lion emblem. Will have to have the holes patched if I go with the latter, looks kinda cool though. Haven't seen anyone else do it before.

have you thought about removing that pinstripe? I ripped the pinstripes off my statesman and it looks so much better without them imo

I have actually. Probably won't do it yet but it's planned for the future, thinking of doing a full black and white theme. What did you find was the easiest way to remove yours?

I just used a hair dryer to soften the glue, and they essentially peel off in one piece if you're gentle. I removed the little bits of left-over glue with some glue remover.

So after almost two years I've finally got my Provisional license. Had to take an obligatory shot of the plates on the car of course.

DIY white letter tyres too. They'll do for the time being

So working 12 hour days for 6 days a week does have it's up sides. Now I can actually start spending a fair portion of money on my car. First thing to do was obviously get it slammed. I bought a set of King's ultra lows off of ebay, only the rears have been modified to be even lower, allowing the car to sit level. Wheels and tyres are next ;)

Started saturday afternoon on the rears and spent all day today doing the fronts, front struts are a bastard of a job.

In the weeds. Ignore the fact that my car is filthy, was starting to run out of sunlight.

Looks so good with the CSA rims and the thin white walls. I am biased towards white VR/VS sedans.

Rear spring insulators out, dropped the arse some more. Hasn't compromised drivability at all that I've noticed. Yes I realise this is probably the second most bogan thing to do besides cutting coils.

Black stockos and painted whitewalls. I'm trying different kinds of paint to see what fairs the best as whitewall paint, this is currently Duplicolour Vinyl Spray. Will leave these for a few weeks and see how they go.
