I just done my tank and now it is very pressurised, might have to check the line to the charcole canister where it joins the hose near the tank, was not happy with that join.

Does anyone have a diagram or pics of the completed job? My lines do not exist anymore and can't see where they go or went

Question re this. Is it just the hoses that fail and not the vapour separator? I plan to undertake this job in the next few weeks and need everything I need on hand or I may be stranded 100km away from supplies. So far I am going to buy 1m of 15mm ID fuel hose and 3m of 5mm ID. Should I buy clamps as well?

No not at all. Everything there is reusable............................apart from the hose.

Thanks mate. Might fix this next week. Awful smell today when i filled right up the neck. Tried getting the hoses today but they must be still shut. Hopefully they reopen next week.

Stupid question but does anyone know if I need to get underneath to fit the thin rubber breather lines? I'd rather not remove the tub liner and tool box until I know if I need the pit or not as I would need to bolt the tool box back in before heading home, if I make a start and then get stuck.

no losh unless there cut a hole in between the cab and bed or under it you got to unscrew the big panel in the floor and undo the the c clip holds the rubber boot around the petrol cap and unscrew the bolts and slide to clear the filler tube and lift the tank up to get to the hoses

I run into another problem. The breather on the filler neck takes 5mm yet the hard line takes 8mm or maybe 3/8. I think this may have been my fuel smell issue. Problem is what's missing, surely its not like this from factory? The hose on the neck won't seal like this. Plus i need to buy fuel line from somewhere. Or do i have some alternative, like blocking off the lager pipe and venting the neck to underneath the tub?
