that would be 205/65R15's y u ask?

and slapnuts the motor in the vl is completey rebuilt and all new sensors so its basicaly running at perfect performance, right?
so must mean mines is good condition, could b because all new sensors too:w00t:

well actually...........no.

the motor had a top-end rebuild about 15,000k's ago, just before i bought it and it's running the same 200,000k old bottom end it left the factory with.
just a very sweet motor. only mods are extractors and exhaust, I haven't put the cai on yet, because considering last time, the less power amy has, the less likely it'll say hi to the wall again.

I do keep it in good tune and change the oil regularly, plugs etc. but maybe it's just a freak.

I sat down one day after comparing fuel economy / km / $$$$ !!!

It actuly works out cheaper to run my VL, and mrs's barina on BP Ultimate instead of unleaded.

The Barina doesn't ping, more km's, VL more km's, both run smoother, combined with cai, extractors, they arn't dragsters but are more responcive !

Well once I filled up at 522k on the odo and I still only put some 57liters into a 65 litre tank... So I think I would've got 550km's outta it, however, I credit that to slipstreaming my dad's landcruiser on a 4 hour highway trip..

You gotta love the effects of drafting.... Considering I was like never more than two car lengths behind...

mines on gas, i run about 20litres to the 100 k's.
Petrol is much better, would be somewhere between 12 and 14ltr/100k.

well went on the SA JC crusie #6 today was a nice top run i did 225.5km total,
filled the car up this morning got 44 ltrs in the tank but was on the red just as i got 2 the petti station (almost past red:bang: ) not good

the gauge said just under full tank when i filled it then by the time i got home 7 hours later and 250 ks it was at the half way, so when i get back down to the low level by the end of the week ill tell u how i got on the 44ltrs

well went for another drive 2day running around, the fuel guage stoped at its final spot of a 1/4 tank to go,
so the 44ltrs i put in on sunday was just under 3/4 of a tank,
and on the crusie i coverd 225.5 kms using half a tank
so it works out to 13.3ltrs/100kms with a bit out thrashing thought the long hilly run we had,
now if i have a quater of a tank left (15ltrs) i should get 112kms on the 13.3ltr/100kms avg worked out before,

so i should end up with 383km out of my 44ltrs of petti i placed in on sunday,
and if it was a full tank it would be in the area of 495km on the 13.3ltr/100km

just going to have to wait and see, hope 383km comes up.
