fuel usage.....cant be right or can it?

well ran out 2day, got 408.3 km to 44 ltrs so 11.2ltrs/100km with a bit of thrashing throught the hills on the crusie

well it shows im getting consistany 412.4km on 45ltrs :w00t:

mine had been great on fuel as well.
similar ration to first post.
so im happy.

mobil premium was the best, did a from west gate out to tullarmarine and back, and didnt move the gauge much at all!

Sean Im quite happy been getting around 550km out of my tank 11L /100km and thats changing at 4500 upwards and giving it general shite.

Well i put fuel in my car when im on dead empty. Last week i put 28 litres in her, and managed to get 280km's before i had to put more fuel in it. You do the math

well it does use a fair bit more when it has the 91ron fuel, don't know why tho.

well her's is the sensible car, mine's the fun one. it'll stay an 8

I may actually retract my earlier statement of the vc staying an 8, i'm now heavily considering putting an rb30 in it. thoughts?

You are actually using 11.1 litres per 100km or getting 9 km per litre.

Litres per 100km : 33/2.97 = 11.11
kms per litre : 297/33 = 9

Mines a stock standard 5 speed manual VL and I get about 640km to the tank.:thumbsup:

i just did a 500km trip and used under 3/4 of a tank. sitting 10kms over the speed limit and getting up to 160km/hr when overtaking. although that only happened a couple of times for a very short moment.
