You realise you're going to have to pull the crank out to get the pistons out yeah?
Which means new rings/bearings and linished crank.
When was the last time you worked on a motor, there is not one I can think of, ford, holden, isuzu, nissan etc that requires the crank to come out to remove the rod/piston combo...
