Well, surprise, surprise!!! The truth comes out! The bully boys and the pack on here are not looking too flash at this stage!

SMH Drive update:

"The internet is awash with rumour that a Holden Special Vehicles GTS used by NSW Police also suffered engine failure.

NSW Police told Fairfax Media there are have never been issues with its HSV GTS and that the car is fully operational. Holden Special Vehicles says the GTS had not been returned to them for repairs, Walkinshaw Performance says there are no problems with the car.

The car was prepared by Oztrack Tuning in Penrith, which says there are no issues with the car and that it is considering legal action against the rumour’s source".

All in all I think this thread remained pretty civil compared to a few I was reading over the days.

Well the next question is, why the public dumping? Because that is what added so much fuel to the rumors.

Surely Walkinshaw wouldve been one of the first to know.

A car designed for 98ron from factory, with a performance tune ran on E10...........................how can highway patrol officers give performance cars defects when clearly they have no idea.

Not convinced. Too embarassing for them to admit to.

Just like the new LED lightbars the cops have that cost $2500 each and are already having issues that they are keeping hush hush.
