I just got myself a tech 2, how do I enable the digital speedo. What do I have to do through?

Im sure somebody knows a how to. Much appreciated if somebody can share it with me.

with the new MDI scan tool being released for the new cars, will that do the older cars VT-VE or is a tech 2 with candi module still needed for VE's.

so is it worth trying to buy the MDI scan tool over the tech for VE stuff

does anybody know how to stop the VE's from bringing up codes when you plug in the Tech 2? every time I plug something Into the diagnostic plug it brings up stability control off and abs module codes and contact dealer codes. I thought they might go away on there own but when I started driving the other morning it had the check engine light and it was a abs module code, I cleared it with my phone but would like to know if it can be stopped or what's the go there?

Have you got it all plugged in or are you just running the cord from the tech 2 straight to the diagnostic port

i've got the latest version V147 it provides support for Mdi Tech2win



there is no issues for programming keys older cars etc

i can no longer find PCMCIA software to use in my old laptop it's called "ELAN pcmcia card"

i can however get cards but unless you going to use it on newer cars you don't need it

you mean have I got a power source going to it? then no
the way I have it set up is tech 2 to candi module to diagnostic port

didnt even know there was a 147!
That said my 142 does what I want on a 2012 VE II SS so I'm happy with that
