Hey,

Just wondering if anyone has fitted a Optima D31 or any other battery that is capable of more than 55a/h to there engine bay in the LS1 models?

I've seen it done in the ecotec's. I kinda like the idea of dual battery where the air box is but that would require a OTR.

Thanks

ah yer, I see you thought of that already. That'll teach me to skim read!

Reckon there won't be enough room to fit a bigger battery. It's pretty tight with all that V8 in there :p

my v8 has one of them ramjet air intakes so no air box, works good, looks good, an leaves tons of room for 2nd batt, think they are pretty cheap, might be worth a look
