- 1999 Holden Commodore VT II Executive
Hi,
I have been having issue with my 1999 Holden Commodore VT II Executive (Duel Fuel) for some times.
The car engine has been stalling for some time intermittently. Here is the scenario,
The car used to cut off occasionally. I thought it was LPG issue, so I took it to the LPG tuning place.
After tuning the LPG system, the car was fine. But since last 3 weeks, the car started to stall both in LPG and Petrol.
I took it to mechanic. They thought it was DFI fault, but could not find any issue. However, the scan tool showed Vacuum leak.
They didn't take it seriously.
After bringing the car from mechanic, I found the the idle was rough, especially in LPG.
I took it to another mechanic, who tried to find vacuum leak but didn't get one.
However, he flushed the coolant system and fine tune the idling. The car look smoother than before.
Then on the way to home the car again stalled. I drove back to the mechanic fix the issue.
He replaced the DFI module and told me to test if the car stall anymore.
However, even after hanging the DFI module the car stalled.
Now, my question to the expert, what could be the problem of this car?
I am kind of overwhelmed. Please give me some direction!
