Bought it with this issue, like the rest of them.
Never have i had to make so many repairs on any car in 40 years of owning cars.
Bought it with 185 thousand kms, so i cant really bitch i suppose.
Just done the shocks and strut mounts all around as well to pass rego.
I knew this had to be sorted out so now its time.
Woke up this mornin and theres a puddle under the washer pump. Thought it may hav been the bottom radiator hose as looks pretty old but it wasnt.
I knew about it and checked it out previously, and bought a new pump with the grommet.
So the window washer bottle is leaking pretty bad.
Its not cracked.
Filler neck is good.
But the effin hole in the washer tank where the grommet goes, is as loose as a whores arsehole
WTF?
It mustve just expanded itself over time cause of the **** quality.
What other crap is going to happen?
Never had this happen on ANY old Holden.
They called it the " Billion Dollar Baby" in the ad launch.
Thats why they dont make it here anymore obviously.
Couldnt compete cause its overpriced.
I mean, how effin hard is it to get an effin window washer bottle right that actually lasts.
Its a parts game these days.
They know the Holdens are made of junk these days.
I used to buy second hand parts EVERY SINGLE TIME for the old Holdens.
I cant remember ever having to buy new parts.
These things are junk just like the rest of the junk makes out there these days.
Cant even rely on a series 2 onwards as they come up with the same issues.
Fuk me. I feel sorry for you young fellas not knowing any better.
Never used to be that way.
So anyone had this automatic expansion of grommet hole in washer bottle tank?
Ive probably rubbed up people the wrong way, cause im tellin it how it is in my opinion.
Ive always been good at rattling peoples cages with the truth.
Theyve got heads like a beaten favorite every time.
