In Tas it seems like there a number of different brands the police are using at the present, the Opeldore not being one of them. I wonder if they are trialling a number of brands to decide what they will eventually use full-time.

It's hard work to build a good reputation but easy to destroy one and unfortunately the boffins in charge of Holdens destiny have done a fair amount of the damage themselves. I see a future where another GM brand comes to take the place of Holden in this country

Don't know about NSW, but VIC cops are allegedly testing it...

Meanwhile, Wheels Mag spin doctor David Bonnici strenuously endeavors to rub a shine on the ball, but reading between his lines reveals that a BMW 530d, Volkswagen Passat, or even a Hyundai Sonata are all probably better choices for Highway Patrol duties.

They'll be using the 530D for HWP when they get through their 'stockpile' of SS Commodores.
