Andrew,

If I were you, and I am being 100% serious, go to a wreckers and ask them for an old panel off a car and prep, bog, prime, sand, paint, clear coat it before you get anywhere near your car.

Better to make mistakes on a panel that doesn't matter than on a real car.

It's worth the time for the end result

I've sprayed my back and from bumper a I needed new ones And I still have the old bumper witch I have done some Practice on and came out good dosnt bother me to much if it dosnt come out in shop quality I just want it to be a better colour then it is I'm soon it more for fun and to #### around.

get yourself a long body file/sanding board so when rubbing back the bog you will hopefully wont have dips or ripples in the end result and remember a good paintjob is mostly in the preparation the better and more time you spend on preparing your car for paint the better the end result is likely to be.if your using metallic the whole car will have to be rubbed back with 600 grit paper before topcoat.

Yeah I have a long sanding file. So you mean rub the paint on out on befor putting the clear coat on?

So give it a good sand with 600 grid and a good buff then run over it with was and grease remover befor puting the clear coat over the new paint? is that right that's what I've been told?

When people say cut arylicc back wIth 1200 grid paper dose this mean after you have done the clear coast or befor you put the clear coat on?
