Yes i have read thru that thread, just tryin to avoid removal of steering wheel. but looks like i will have to.

NAAF i swapped relay with one of the others, same issue.

PSI3800, i cleaned up all the contacts under the horn cover and on the backing plate and sping loaded pin, it makes contact as relay triggers. horn worked a couple times with pin pressed in, but now its not.
I did put a small piece of brass under the pin to try that, no luck

Think its just bad ground, due to collapse of bearing as stated in other thread.

Goin to test continuity between spring loaded pin and horn pad contacts.

Prob just solder up some new connectors at the horn too, easy elimination

ok so today i took of the steering wheel.

I have continuity between brass contact behind the steering wheel that touches the steering column

I have continuity between horn pad and spring loaded pin behind wheel.

I have soldered new connectors at the horn.

I have swapped relays

I just put headlights in, should have tested voltage at the connectors with horn pressed in.

Duno what else to do

Can still hear relay clickin away, no horn still, arrrrrrr

its now got continuity between front n rear of wheel, as well as the spring loaded pin.

But still no horn

Goin to have to see if i get a volt reading at the horn connection next, will leave that for tomorrow

Bad earth where the horn bolts to the radiator support panel? Does your horn have two wires to it or just one?

there are 2x horns in the same location, one has both connections, other runs single from the other horn.

i put new connections on the one that takes both +/-

so back at it today.

just did a volt test at the horn, 12.46 volt and reads same when i use batt as the negative. so its not ground from horn.

got me stuffed, relay is engaging as it wouldnt have 12v at the horn other wise.

Horns work when direct connection to batt.

Try swapping the wires on the horn.
